Gaza Strip mein heavy rainfall ke sabab Tuesday ko kai gharon se be ghar Palestinians ke tents pani mein doob gaye. Ye log 2023 ke October ke Hamas ke attack ke baad Israel ke zulm aur tabahi ke natije mein apne gharo se beghar ho gaye. Do saal se zyada arsa guzarne ke bawajood, wo ab bhi purani aur phati hui tents aur bohot basic shelters mein zindagi guzar rahe hain, jahan musalsal barish aur sardiyon ki thand unki mushkilaat ko aur barha deti hai.
Gaza ke 2 million logon mein se bohot se log ab bhi apne gharo se door hain aur basic shelter mein zindagi guzar rahe hain. Ceasefire mid-October se broadly hold ho raha hai, lekin jang ne Gaza ka infrastructure aur built-up areas tabah kar diye, jisse logon ke liye mushkil tareen living conditions create ho gayi hain.
Um Ahmed Aowdah ne apne tent ke bahar kaha:
“Ye suffering, ye barish… winter abhi shuru bhi nahi hui aur hum already flood aur humiliation face kar rahe hain. Naye tents ya tarps abhi tak nahi mile, jo humare paas hai wo do saal purana hai aur puri tarah worn out ho gaya hai.”
Aid aur shelter ki urgent zarurat:
- Palestinian NGOs Network ke head Amjad Al-Shawa ne kaha ke kam az kam 300,000 naye tents ki zarurat hai taake 1.5 million displaced logon ko shelter mil sake.
- Palestinian Civil Defence Service ke mutabiq hazaron tents flood ya torrential rain se damage ho gaye hain.
- Kuch tents puri tarah wash away ho gaye aur kuch areas mein floodwaters 40–50 cm above ground tak barh gaye.
Ek field hospital ko flooding ke sabab operations suspend karne pade.
International Aid ka masla:
- United Nations ne kaha ke wo winter supplies Gaza mein pohanchane ki koshish kar rahe hain, lekin Israeli restrictions ki wajah se trucks ki entry limited hai.
- Hamas-led Gaza authorities ka kehna hai ke Israel ne ceasefire ke mutabiq promised aid nahi allow kiya.
- Aid agencies ke mutabiq Israel essential items ka entry rok raha hai, jabke Israel ka kehna hai ke wo truce obligations pura kar raha hai, aur aid agencies inefficient hain ya Hamas militants ne kuch cheezen steal ki hain. Hamas ne ise deny kiya hai.
Ye situation Gaza ke displaced logon ke liye bohot challenging hai, khaas taur par winter ke shuru hone se pehle, jab tents purane aur fragile hain. Aid delivery aur international support ka effective hona ab bohot critical hai taake musafir families ka basic survival ensure ho sake.
