Pakistan ke star javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem ne Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 mein dobara gold medal jeet kar apni dominance sabit ki. Riyadh ke Prince Faisal Bin Fahad Stadium mein men’s javelin final mein Arshad ne 83.05m ka throw karke pehla maqam hasil kiya. Unke hi saathi Muhammad Yasir ne 76.04m ka behtareen throw karke silver medal jeeta, jis se Pakistan ne men’s javelin event mein one-two finish hasil ki.
Arshad ne apni campaign shuru ki 75.44m ke throw se, phir doosre attempt mein 83.05m ka behtareen throw kiya jo unke liye medal confirm kar gaya. Teesre attempt mein 82.48m ka throw, chauthe mein 77.06m aur aakhri throw 77.98m raha. Unke ilawa kisi ne bhi 80m se zyada throw nahi kiya.
Muhammad Yasir ne apni chhati attempt mein 76.04m ka throw karke silver medal hasil kiya, jabke Nigeria ke Samuel Adams Kure ne 76.01m ka bronze throw kiya.
Yeh Arshad ka Islamic Solidarity Games mein gold medal defend karna tha, jo unhone 2024 Olympics mein Paris mein gold aur games record jeetne ke baad kiya. Arshad abhi July mein kiye gaye calf surgery se recover kar rahe hain, jiska asar unki performance par bhi pada. Tokyo World Athletics Championships mein unka 10th place finish raha, lekin recovery ke bawajood unhone Riyadh mein dobara apni medal-winning form dikhai.
Arshad ne apni shandar performance ka credit Allah Ta’ala ke fazl ko diya aur Pakistan walon ki duaon ka shukriya ada kiya. Unhone kaha:
“Winning another gold for my country gives me satisfaction, and I am grateful to Almighty Allah for His blessings. Lekin Tokyo ki disappointment abhi puri tarah se door nahi hui.”
Yasir ne bhi behtareen performance dikhayi, aur apni previous achievements jaise Asian Throwing Championships 2025 mein bronze aur Arshad ke saath Asian Athletic Championships mein competitions ka experience dikhaya.
Is saal Arshad ne international stage par apna tissaad mukammal kiya: Olympics, Commonwealth Games, World Championships aur Asian Athletics Championships ke medals ke saath, wo Pakistan ke sab se decorated track and field star ban gaye hain.Pakistan ke boxers Fatima Zahra aur Qudrat Ullah ne bhi bronze medals jeet ke saath Pakistan ka medal tally ab char tak barh gaya.
